Bay Pavilions: a triumph of form and functionality

The new and very popular Bay Pavilions Arts-Aquatic at Batemans Bay is a showcase of Pentarch Forestry’s KD F27 Hardwood panelling.

Opened 12 months ago, the centre houses arts, culture and aquatic facilities with several indoor pools, an auditorium, gallery, meeting rooms, café, visitors centre and arts workshop spaces.

It was also recognised by a series of awards including the Master Builders Association of NSW award for Excellence in Construction in the Public Building Over $60 million category, and Best Regional Project at the Australian Institute of Project Management NSW awards, as well as Editor’s Choice at the 2022 Sustainability Awards.

The $69 million project took two years to complete and features 5388 lineal metres of Pentarch Forestry™ 190x45mm KD F27 Hardwood.

“The centre is a triumph of flowing lines and functionality and so rewarding to see our hardwood panelling produce its most appealing features,” said Matthew Jurd, Area Sales Manager NSW & ACT

“People visit to see art in a building which is art itself!”
